My name is Roy and I am just a regular guy who has a passion for all things opal.

Roys Rocks however, is less about me and more about building a community of opal fans so we can all help each other out and just enjoy anything opal related. We have people all over the world and from all walks of life, who have a love for opal. This ranges from miners, resellers, cutters/carvers from hobbyists to professionals who have lived and breathed opal for longer than I have lived.

This website is only one small part of my efforts to provide whatever I can for the opal community.
