121 gets smaller, and better

this stone started at 3.8 carats. I neglected to take a picture of the original, it seems. I took some after removing some of the top. I then decided to cut it due to the color bars diving into the stone. the bigger cut piece is 1.75 carats at present. I need to even the back and work it a bit more on top, then polish it. My intent was to try to get a big round stone, but I made the better choice, I think.
