Have been buying some boulder, and they look very different. Maybe a video going through the "types" (not sure if its types or parts of the same type of stones even) and how to handle/cut each. For me its not so much the finer work and polishing, I think you've showed that well, but more what to strive for in how to divide into bits, where the color is in the types etc. You see, I hardly know what I'm talking about :-) But those yowah nuts, it makes sense to cut in half to get to the middle. Those with thicker bands people appear to divide along those opal bands. But then there are the ones with bubbles, those with softer areas, different patterns and layers to consider... I haven't seen that talked about in videos really, but there are so many beautiful, sparkly stones to enjoy, I don't want to destroy them when I try to do .

I probably have a bit of every type of boulder opal out there in my collection so not a bad idea.
I should be able to whip something together.
