How to make a perfectly shaped oval high domed cabachon with a rotary tool...I mean I have done it more than once but still even using stencils... My slightly off cabs outweigh my perfect (well to the naked eye anyway)ones by quite a bit and it isn't just that I've improved with time and experience as I seem to struggle with it each time...it's very possible it is just me 😂 but any tips or help on the subject would be a video I'd love to see from the Master... thanks 🙏

I have been doing this almost 14 months and I am still hit and miss. Some are really great, others are a bit off.
Perhaps the question should be: how perfect does it have to be? Does a slight imperfection or two going to make a difference in setting the stone? And if so, what imperfections are the biggest threat to a good setting? (ok, that is two questions, don't bring out the Spanish inquisition)
